Summary
The RAISE project targets Vocational Education and training Professionals (VETPRO) who work predominantly with disadvantaged young people or young adults with fewer opportunities (economically, socially and/ or through learning difficulties and disabilities). The professionals we are targeting with this project will work young people with few or no formal qualifications, looked after children, and socially excluded groups, refugees, living in deprived rural and inner-city areas, with disabilities, minority ethnic groups, unemployed or at economic disadvantage. This project aims to improve and update the competencies of professionals through the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience. A particular focus is on the exchange of innovative methods and practices to support those young people to enter successfully the European Labour market. Furthermore, the project should give professionals the opportunity to explore practices of informal learning. The main attention is on Life- Long- Learning as the overall theme of the exchange experience.
